Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Gwalior Self Driven Car. By booking or using our car rental services in Gwalior, you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with a booking.

1. Booking Requirements

  • You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driving license issued in India.
  • A refundable security deposit is mandatory before car handover.
  • Original documents including government ID and license must be shown at the time of pickup.

2. Rental Duration & Extensions

  • Minimum rental period is 6 hours; daily and weekly packages available.
  • Late returns beyond the agreed time will be charged on an hourly basis.
  • Extension requests must be made at least 1 hour before rental end time.

3. Fuel Policy

  • Cars are delivered with a full tank; return with the same level is expected.
  • Short fuel returns will incur fuel charges as per actual fuel cost + ₹100 refueling fee.

4. Usage Restrictions

  • Cars should not be driven beyond the designated geographic boundaries without prior approval.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.
  • Sub-renting or usage for illegal activities will lead to termination of service and legal consequences.

5. Damages & Liability

  • The renter is responsible for any physical or mechanical damage due to negligence or accidents.
  • Accidents must be reported immediately; FIR and insurance claim procedures must be followed.
  • All cars are GPS tracked for safety and usage monitoring.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Free cancellation available up to 24 hours before booking time.
  • 50% charge for cancellations within 12–24 hours; no refund for cancellations within 12 hours of pickup.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method.

7. Identification & Verification

  • Each user must present original and valid ID proofs at the time of vehicle handover.
  • We reserve the right to deny service in case of document mismatch or verification failure.

8. Traffic Violations & Challans

  • All fines due to speeding, parking, red light jumping, or any traffic law violation during the rental period are renter’s responsibility.
  • We will notify the customer of the challan and deduct applicable amounts from the security deposit.

9. Insurance Coverage

  • All cars are insured under comprehensive motor vehicle policy including third-party cover.
  • In case of accident or theft, the customer is liable to pay the insurance excess amount as applicable.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held responsible for service disruption due to natural disasters, government restrictions, war, civil disturbances, pandemics, or other force majeure events.

11. Modifications

Gwalior Self Driven Car reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be available on our website and apply immediately upon publication.
